Twenty-five years ago, my father, pulled together contacts from many years working within the engineering industry, to procure specialist products, offering solutions to companies working within the global steel and ports industries.
As the business grew, so did the range of products and engineering services, tailored to each client’s requirements.
Years spent on the road, sourcing products to accurately fit customers unique applications, Barlow Technology developed a name, synonymous with quality and exceptional, personal service.
Following graduation from the University of Sunderland, I too became part of the company, utilising skills learned, during studying for a degree in Automotive Design and Engineering and applied them to the individual demands of each customer.
Expanding into wider sectors of marine and offshore, container handling, rail, paper, mining and the renewable energy industry, we continued to grow a spectrum of products and services, offering cost-effective, tailored solutions across broad engineering applications.
Today, as we celebrate Barlow Technology’s 25th Anniversary, our family business continues to serve customers with globally sourced engineered solutions.
