I sincerely hope this communication finds you well, during these unprecedented times.
Within our industry, as with many others, we are increasingly detached from our colleagues and if, like me, you are more used to being on the road, with many face-to-face meetings, current times will not only feel strange but restrictive and perhaps isolating.
Although we are working effectively at Barlow technology, the familiarity of working life at the start of the year is already a distant memory. Together however, we are collectively discovering innovative ways of communicating as we adapt to new working practices around the globe, until life is once again ‘normal’.
However, there remains a lot to be positive about; a great deal of our work revolves around the serving of essential industries, and current indications are that demand is constant, if not increasing, with our ability to service that demand, made easier by our strong supplier base.
I look forward to staying in contact and even more so, to visiting, when it is considered safe to do so.
